The drawing is based on a sphere generated by a computer program. The sphere—associating with the Earth—floats on pins in front of the wall. The disconcerting element is that the poles of the sphere are not opposite each other, but rather at individual points, which seems to dissolve the static nature of the drawing.

The lines of altitude and longitude are broken up and distorted by the applied technique, leading to a shift in perception for the viewer.

The clothesline is knotted onto the pins. The knots form points on the sphere that can be interpreted as markings or even airplanes.
